Cinema Sound Audiobooks

Barb Lyon is a voice artist, dog trainer, and leadership junkie. She’s been at her mic for more than 20 years, using her warm and authoritative voice to communicate with audiences from nearly every walk of life. There have been national and regional spots, radio ads, YouTube videos, award show announcements, and even phone prompts. She’s thrilled to have narrated the 2019Nebula Award-winning novelette “Carpe Glitter” by Cat Rambo. Barb was nominated for a SOVAS award in 2023 and is currently a 2026 OneVoice Award nominee. (Cross your fingers!)

For 23 years, she led an audio services team directing, engineering, and editing talent, till shedecided to strike out on her own. But leadership is in Barb’s blood, and she just can’t resist a good SWOT analysis, or motivational messaging of any kind. When she’s not at work, you’ll find her either cooking a Saturday night feast or training her and her husband’s dog, Friday. Her clubs keep her busy, teaching a Puppy Class and a Canine Good Citizen Prep class, and competing with Friday in Obedience and Rally competitions. One day, she even plans to be a judge.
